For this picture the background was really busy so i cropped it and then burned the background to put the attention on my roommate. Then I changed the color of her sweater so it is now pink.
Again my roommates were my models for these pictures. For this one I did a color match and it interestingly tried to lighten the color of my roommates skin. She laughed and me and said I was trying to make her white.

I like that you cropped your first photo and burned out the background, it really gave a more polished look to the photo. Nice job!
