Landscapes and Still Life

I was raised in Montana so I find pivot lines and water towers fascinating. I took these pictures outside of Rexburg.

I have a rainbow of fingernail polish colors. I thought they would take fun pictures as a still life.

  1. I love how you chose to change the angle of the nail polish picture so it made each picture different. I also love the shot of the field...you really captured Rexburg with the fields

  2. I like the texture of the snow in your first shot. Really nice. The nail polish photos are fun. :)

  3. The angle on the second polish photo really works for me! We're always above these tiny guys. Getting on the ground shows of their curves. I'm wondering if some different light would bring out the rich colors. They feel a touch dark to me - is it just the polish?

  4. I like that you experimented with angles in these pictures. I think that the nail polish idea was a really cool idea. I wish you would have had a little more light on them so I could see all the colors stand out more!

  5. I like how you capured the white of the snow and the blue of the sky without the colors all meshing together like most snow shots are.

  6. I really like the water tower picture, the angle of it is so different. I love the idea of your nail polish photos-just brighten them up a little bit and it would bring up the colors so much more!

  8. The water tower angle is real interesting. Most angled pictures with towers make me queazy for some reason, but it's still an interesting perspective!
